iPad Learning “The Wonderful World of Whales”—Students will use iPads and supported apps (QR Code Reader, Facetime, Virtual Field Trip) to research whales and write a nonfiction story. Students will then present their story using the app Scribble My Story.

Counseling Resources-Play Therapy—Games and play therapy will be used to deliver social emotional curriculum and interventions. Materials will be available for all students through the counseling office.

Supporting Students through the BMS Mentoring Program—At-risk students are provided an adult mentor to improve the student’s self esteem through a consistent, nurturing relationship. Mentors spend one hour each week working one on one with recommended students.
